OMNI's Carnegie branch recognized
May 2005
The Carnegie, Penn., office has drawn the eye of the State of Pennsylvania - for its terrific patient outcomes. Under Pennsylvania's Quality Insights program, every quarter a Quality Improvement Officer reviews the patient outcomes of each agency, hospital, nursing home or other healthcare facility. The reports on the Carnegie branch were so good, the branch was invited to be included in a video presentation at the annual Quality Insights Conference.
"They asked for one provider from each of the areas that they represent, such as hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices and home health. They selected our agency to represent home health. I feel this is an honor to the staff," said Vicky Freed, administrator. A crew came to the office on January 25 to shoot video of the staff. The video will be part of the Quality Insights Video of Champions that will be presented at an annual quality in healthcare conference on May 17 at Harrisburg. Pennsylvania Gov. Rendell will be the keynote speaker.
