Home Health Care for Alzheimer's Patients
Due to the growth in our aging population, Alzheimer's disease is becoming more prominent. Federal studies show that Alzheimer's patients can be diagnosed at the onset of the disease. Patients can benefit from physical, occupational, psychotherapy as well as other services. Home care, hospice and mental health benefits can no longer be denied to those Medicare patients who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

- Care is necessary and reasonable to the treatment of an illness or injury. Patient needs Skilled Nursing,

- Physician periodically reviews an established Plan of Care
- Care is in the patient's place of residence
- Certified home health agency provides care
